Plans are being made by the Central Government to ensure that every state gets one AIIMS. Before 2014, there were seven AIIMS in the country, today there are 22. Out of these, two AIIMS are established in UP. Not only this, preparations are going on by the government to build a critical care block. Serious patients will benefit from this. Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel, who came to the city on Sunday, said these things during the program of dedication of Amar Ujala.
During this, he expressed concern over the frequent suicides of students in institutions like IITs. In the felicitation program organized at The Sports Hub in Aryanagar, 34 personalities working in the field of medicine and education in the city were honored. The program was inaugurated with the chief guest, Union Minister of State, Amit Narayan from Narayana Group, Ankita Das from Ujala Cygnus, Richa Prakash from DPS Kalyanpur, Dr. Sanjay Kala from GSVM Medical College, Dr. Rakesh Verma from Cardiology, Dr. Madhulika from Nutan Homeopathy and JS Arora from Axis Honda lit the lamp. The chief guest was welcomed by covering him with a shawl and giving him a symbol. On this occasion, people also asked questions to the Union Minister of State. To which he answered very well.
